An introduction to Creative Culture

The past-paced life of a creative professional is dynamic and human-centred. With awareness of a digital world, teams at The Distillery collaborate on projects to strategise and bring to life projects with meaning and tangibility.

From Crown Street Darlinghurst, our studio is buzzing hive of creative activity.

Designing, prototyping, hand-lettering, printmaking and manufacturing, we’re passionate about helping people connect with creative touch-points which offer a spark of life.

The Creative Graduate Program

Specially developed for recent graduates, The Creative Graduate Program offers full time employment with The Distillery at entry-level. The program is designed to help nurture junior creatives to grow and become industry-leading Creative Professionals with The Distillery.

Featuring a variety and depth of structured learning, over time the program offers rotational learning opportunities across a range of different teams, commercial industries and creative services. With focussed training and support, your fundamental professional skills are developed to power long-term success in your career.

The program’s first core rotation is placement as a Junior Consultant and Designer, focussing on development of your communication, sales and management skills. You will have the opportunity to learn about business first, before nurturing your creative skills with meaning and purpose.

With development and pacing, selection of future program rotations may include a combination of:

  • Graphic design
  • Publication design
  • Marketing
  • Creative and business strategy
  • Business development
  • Craft production
