A three-week creative course, run after-hours at The Distillery’s award winning studio in Darlinghurst.
Spend your evenings learning to hand-mix inks, select paper stocks, mould printing plates, and print your very own letterpress prints of your artwork. You’ll experience the nuances of craft printing, all while having fun with other students.
Led by senior printmakers of The Distillery, you’ll learn in small groups in an open and inclusive environment. This course is ideal for beginners with little or no experience in print.
Learn collectively, and finish with your own take-home print!
At course completion, you’ll be issued with a Distillery Academy certificate highlighting learnings in artwork, paper, plate, ink, press and process fundamentals.
Completion of this course qualifies access to further Academy classes in large-format letterpress printing, hot-stamp foiling, and more.
