Capable of producing letterpress prints up to 520x420mm, you will experience the nature of presses originally designed to produce quick ‘proof-copies’, but today are highly valued for their artistic capabilities.
Inspired by the heritage equipment repurposed for the future, the Masterclass explores components of modern printmaking:
Masterclass sessions are instructed by senior printmakers of The Distillery in small intimate groups.
No prior experience is necessary – just bring your passion to experience a rare and exclusive method of letterpress printmaking. Alongside like-minded creatives and freshly curated tunes in The Distillery’s Crown St studio, you can look forward to an inspired and creative afternoon!

Your own illustration / artistic work to be letterpress printed (perhaps for commercial opportunities). Comprising up to 2 ink colours, you will produce this piece during the Masterclass.
Outcomes
Up to 10 large-format letterpress prints of an illustration / artistic work.
Cost
$590 covering all tuition, equipment, materials and supplies.
