Brickx is a new start-up company, focussing on capitalising the fractional ownership of property. Through an online platform, the business will function as an exchange, offering users the opportunity to invest in smaller segments of property. Benefits of this model include reducing costs, red-tape and hassles which are usually associated with property ownership.
We created a simple icon that conveys a complex idea – At the same time, an ‘X’ and layers of bricks, the mark also conveys ideas of exchange, growth and community. Using this mark as a basis, paired with a simple yet friendly sans-serif, we applied this across stationery, social media, app icons and a holding page.
