Since 2011, The Distillery has helped over 1,000 Sydney couples create their wedding stationery. The new Celebrations sub brand began as a way to reposition The Distillery’s wedding offering to the next level.

Celebrations’ vision is to create stunning stationery that combines beautiful design with tactile production, utilising the best of old and modern crafts – whilst remaining authentic and understated. Helping couples connect with their family and friends, expressing the style of their wedding day through beautiful stationery, in their own way.

The new Celebrations brand was crafted around a custom word mark. The word mark is dynamic and has a youthful and modern attitude, whilst still remaining classic and sophisticated. It is a mark that’s instantly recognisable, and works within a lock up system with the existing The Distillery logo.

This word mark has been paired with a number of textural elements and a soft colour palette, creating a tone that’s warm and friendly. A variety of lush coloured paper stocks and metallic finishes were utilised to create an overall brand language that is both luxurious and highly desirable at every touch point.

Celebrations Launch Night

On the 3rd September 2015, The Distillery hosted an intimate dinner party in our Darlinghurst studio to launch Celebrations. In the company of Sydney’s finest wedding industry professionals, we enjoyed a night of delicious food, wine and dessert, live music, styling, creative workshops and the reveal of our new wedding stationery range.
